Consent to the processing of personal data

I, the data subject, in registering with the embed.cam service, freely, of my own will and in my own interest, give my consent to individual entrepreneur Andrei Androsov (Андросов Андрей Евгеньевич) (ОГРНИП 314392609200172, ИНН 392201476857, address 236016, Калининградская обл., г. Калининград, ул. Клиническая, д. 19А, кв. 119; the "Operator") to process my personal data on the terms set out below.

1. Categories of personal data

1.1. Email address.

1.2. Authentication data: the password hash (the password itself is neither transmitted to the Operator in clear form nor stored) and — if I enable two-factor authentication — the encrypted two-factor secret and hashes of recovery codes.

1.3. Service information about the state of the account: whether the email address is confirmed, the number of failed sign-in attempts, the temporary lockout expiry, the session-version marker, the interface language, and the registration date.

1.4. Where I choose to sign in through an external identity provider (Yandex ID, VK ID) — the identifier that provider assigns to me and the confirmed email address it supplies.

2. Purposes of processing

2.1. Registering and maintaining my account, authenticating me and granting access to embed.cam.

2.2. Confirming that the email address is mine, and restoring access to the account.

2.3. Sending service messages relating to the operation of the service and to my account (address confirmation, password reset, notices of changes to the terms, security notices).

2.4. Securing the account and the service: preventing password guessing and unauthorised access, revoking sessions, limiting request rates, investigating incidents.

2.5. Handling my support requests.

2.6. Complying with the Operator's obligations under Russian law.

No processing is carried out for advertising, marketing mailings, profiling or decisions based solely on automated processing. For advertising messages the Operator will request separate consent.

3. Actions performed with the data

Collection, recording, systematisation, accumulation, storage, updating (renewal, modification), extraction, use, blocking, deletion and destruction — with and without automation.

4. Disclosure

4.1. I am informed that the service's servers, databases and mail service run on the cloud platform of TIMEWEB.CLOUD LLC (ООО «ТАЙМВЭБ.КЛАУД», OGRN 1227800052215, INN 7810945525, Russian Federation), which the Operator uses under its public offer, and that the Operator carries out the processing of my personal data using that platform (section 6 of the Personal Data Processing Policy).

4.2. I am informed that the Operator carries out no cross-border transfer of my personal data: the service's servers, its mail service and its backups are located in the Russian Federation. If I give an email address served by a foreign mail service, emails will be delivered to that address at my choice. No consent to cross-border transfer is sought, and none is given here.

4.3. My personal data is not disclosed to anyone else except as required by Russian law.

5. Term and withdrawal

5.1. This consent is valid from the day it is given until the day it is withdrawn.

5.2. I may withdraw it at any time by writing to support@embed.cam from my account email address, or in writing to the Operator's address.

5.3. I understand that withdrawal makes further use of the service impossible, because processing the email address is necessary to sign in, and results in deletion of my account.

5.4. After withdrawal the Operator ceases processing and destroys my personal data within no more than 30 calendar days, except data it is required by law to retain. Data is removed from backups as they are overwritten on schedule.

6. Confirmations

6.1. I confirm that I am 18 years of age or older.

6.2. I have read the Privacy Policy and the User Agreement.

6.3. I understand that for the video stream from my cameras, the images of persons appearing in frame, and the data of recipients I add for restricted-link access, I am the personal data operator, and embed.cam processes that data on my instruction (section 8 of the User Agreement).

How this appears in the registration form (not part of the consent)

An unchecked-by-default checkbox, required for registration:

There is no separate marketing checkbox — the service sends no marketing. If one is ever added it must be a second, independent and optional checkbox (Art. 18 of the Federal Law "On Advertising"), not an extension of this text.
